1. Definitions
"Vectra Grove", "we", "us" refers to the school operating at 92 Jalan Abdullah Tahir, 80300 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. "You" or "User" refers to any individual or organisation accessing this website or enrolling in a programme. "Programme" refers to any course, study group, or institutional partnership offered by Vectra Grove. "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with any enrolment confirmation. "Content" refers to syllabi, reading materials, lab tasks, and assessment rubrics provided as part of a programme.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry, enrolling in a programme, or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Programmes are available to individuals aged 18 and above who have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. Institutional partnerships require authorisation from a representative with authority to bind the institution.
3. Service Description
Vectra Grove operates an online school offering: (a) the AI Engineering Study Group — an eight-week small-group programme; (b) the Production Machine Learning Operations course — an eleven-week course; and (c) the Institutional Curriculum Partnership — a twelve-month programme for universities, polytechnics, and corporate academies. Full programme specifications are available on the Solutions page before enrolment. All programmes are delivered in English and conducted primarily online.
4. Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed only after payment has been received and we have sent a written confirmation. Places in the AI Engineering Study Group are limited to ten participants per cohort. We reserve the right to decline an enrolment application where prerequisites are not met or where a cohort is full. In such cases, payment received will be returned in full.
5. Payment Terms
All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Current pricing:
- AI Engineering Study Group: RM 640 per person per cohort
- Production ML Operations: RM 2,700 per person
- Institutional Curriculum Partnership: RM 4,650 per twelve-month engagement
Payment details are provided in the enrolment confirmation. Institutional partnership fees may be invoiced in stages as agreed in writing. Prices are subject to change with notice before the next cohort. A confirmed enrolment is at the price stated at the time of confirmation.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
For the Study Group and MLOps course: written cancellation more than 14 days before the cohort start date entitles you to a full refund. Cancellation 7–14 days before start: 50% refund. Less than 7 days before start or after commencement: no refund, but we will offer a place in the next available cohort. For the Institutional Curriculum Partnership: cancellation before the curriculum audit begins entitles the institution to a full refund. After the audit begins, fees are non-refundable for completed deliverables, and a proportionate refund is available for undelivered elements.
7. User Responsibilities
- Participants are expected to meet the stated prerequisites for their programme.
- Submitted work must be the participant's own. Submitting work produced by another person or generated entirely by automated means without substantive original contribution is not acceptable.
- Participants must behave respectfully in group sessions. Behaviour that disrupts the learning environment may result in removal from the cohort without refund.
- Programme materials are for personal educational use and may not be redistributed or published.
8. Intellectual Property
Syllabus documents, lab task specifications, and assessment rubrics produced by Vectra Grove remain the intellectual property of Vectra Grove. Participants receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these materials for personal educational purposes during the programme. Institutional partners receive a licence to use the curriculum materials within their own institution under the terms of the partnership agreement. Licence to use does not transfer ownership.
9. Accreditation Disclaimer
Vectra Grove's programmes are not accredited by any Malaysian public awarding body and are not equivalent to academic qualifications. Completion of a programme produces documented evidence of work submitted, not a formal qualification. Institutional partners are responsible for any formal recognition their own programmes may carry.
10. Disclaimers
Programmes are provided on an "as described" basis. We do not make claims about employment outcomes, salary outcomes, or career progression resulting from programme completion. Facilitators will deliver the programme as specified, but individual progress varies with background, effort, and prior knowledge.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted under Malaysian law, Vectra Grove's liability for any claim arising from a programme is limited to the amount paid by the participant for that programme. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Termination
We may terminate a participant's access to a programme if they breach these Terms. The participant may withdraw from a programme at any time subject to the refund terms in Section 6. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and dispute resolution survive termination.
13. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first attempt to resolve the matter informally by written communication. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Johor, Malaysia.
14. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Vectra Grove regarding programme enrolment. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver. You may not assign your enrolment or rights under these Terms without our written consent.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Changes take effect when published. Continued enrolment in or use of a programme after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
